Colin & Susie began their ministry at The Park Church in December 2011. They were married in 1979 and were called to ministry in 1981. After Colin graduated from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College in 1986 (B.Th.), they pastored in Sudbury, ON for 5 years. They also served as PAOC missionaries in Zimbabwe from 1991-2000. Colin graduated from Cape Theological Seminary in Cape Town, RSA in 2001 (M.A. Church Leadership) and then moved to Calgary, AB where they pastored for 10.5 yrs. They love Alberta, and "The West" in general. They also enjoy travelling, motorcycling, camping, and sports (Eskimos & Oilers fans). They are also enjoying being empty nesters as their four young adult children are now on their own adventures! They are really enjoying being Grandparents too!
Joe and Danielle Battiston, originally from Ontario, have been married and in ministry together for over 10 years. They pastored previously at North West Family Church in Calgary (now Journey Church) and joined The Park team in 2016 to develop Community Life Groups and coordinate pastoral care. Joe and Danielle have three children: Gabriella, Matteo and Melissa.
Jonathan is a graduate of Vanguard College (B.A in Music/Worship) and is passionate about serving the local church. He has been leading worship for over 10 years, and also has played guitar for many different artists (Jason Zerbin, Tim Hughes, Jon Bauer, Robin Mark) and released an album of his own music. Jon and his wife Meredith are passionate about seeing people rise to their full potential in Christ, and journeying alongside them in the process.
Jonathan was born in Barrie, Ontario and moved to Edmonton in 2014 to attend Vanguard Bible College for his B.A in Theology - Youth Ministry. Him and his wife Bethany joined the Park Church in 2017, and oversee the youth ministry. The are passionate about seeing young people come to know Christ, and grow closer to Him.
Shay and Echo Anderson joined the Park Church team in April 2018. Originally from Saskatchewan, they began their family and ministry in Lloydminster. In 2014, they moved to Medicine Hat, AB where they both served at the First Assembly of God Church. Shay as the Family Pastor and Echo as a worship leader. Together they have two children, Jeremiah and Isabelle, with another on the way.
Don was born in Toronto and moved to Edmonton to go to university in 1969, where he met his wife Carolyn. They have been married for 45 years and have 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Don worked in Recreation in Alberta and BC before becoming a Pastor of Christian Education and founding a Christian school. He worked as principal of Christian schools in Kelowna and Fort St. John, BC until 2011. He also served as church administrator for 6 years in Kelowna from 1997 to 2003. Don and Carolyn moved back to Alberta in December 2013 to be with children and grandchildren.
Cindy was born and raised in northern Newfoundland. She moved to Fort McMurray, in the early 1980’s, where she lived for 31 years along with her husband Graham and their two sons. She is also proud to say that she is the grandmother of one amazing granddaughter.
Cindy has a strong Christian heritage for which she is thankful. She has been actively involved in many areas of the local church, through the years. During her time in Fort McMurray, she worked as church Secretary at Family Christian Centre for a period of 13 years prior to managing the office of their industrial scaffolding business. Since recently moving to Sherwood Park, she is delighted to utilize her administrative gifts at the Park Church.
Ken has been the custodian at The Park Church for over 2 years, and he has been a huge asset to the team! Ken's background in many different area's of work including having worked for Action Electric have been just some of the great things that he brings to The Park Church.
Peter & Arlene have been involved in various roles in ministry since 1970 (both at Central Pentecostal Tabernacle and The Park Church). They have served as Christian Education Director, Singles Ministry Pastor, Seniors' Ministry Pastor, led Bible Studies, ministered at various Seniors' Homes, and have a heart for Missions. They remain ministry focused and are still very involved at TPC . Peter holds credentials with the PAOC. He is a sports fan who enjoys golfing, fishing, hockey and football, but first and foremost is his love and passion to be of service to the Lord. Peter and Arlene have been married since 1959 and have 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren.
